148 PMA Long Course alumni are 6 Palestinian Cadets

KAKUL — The graduates of the 148th PMA Long Course, 67th Integrated Course, 35th Technical Graduate Course, and 22nd Lady Cadet Course comprised a group of six Palestinian cadets. On a Saturday, the event was held at Pakistan Military Academy Kakul.
Admiral Naveed Ashraf, the Chief of the Naval Staff, was the main guest for the event.

Senior Under Officer Muhammad Abdur Rehman Awan of the Academy received the coveted Sword of Honour, while Senior Under Officer Muhammad Hamza Khalid of the Battalion received the President’s Gold Medal.

The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Overseas Gold Medal was given to Nepali Battalion Senior Under Officer Shreejan Baniya.

Course Under Officers Muhammad Najam Azam of the 67th Integrated Course and Fareeha Kainaat Arif of the 22nd Lady Cadet Course received commandant’s canes.

Company Quarter Master Sergeant Frasat Toufique of the 35th Technical Graduate Course received the Chief of Army Staff Cane.

It is important to note that among the graduates were cadets from Yemen, Iraq, the Maldives, Nepal, Palestine, Qatar, and Sri Lanka.
