Muslims stay away from soccer World Cup in Qatar; Al-Qaeda warning

The regional branch of Al-Qaeda has threatened Muslims to stay away from the football World Cup in Qatar. Al-Qaeda's statement did not include a warning of violence, but urged Muslims to stay away from the international event. Al-Qaeda added in its statement that the World Cup held in Qatar has served to divert attention from the occupation and persecution of Muslim countries. The World Cup of Football is starting from November 20 in Qatar in which 32 teams will participate while its matches will last for about a month.
