
Lahore: After four years of self-imposed exile, Nawaz Sharif, a well-known leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), has arrived at Minar-e-Pakistan. He will speak to a public gathering there.

After flying into Lahore from Islamabad, Nawaz Sharif got onto a helicopter and flew to Minar-e-Pakistan, where the PML-N was holding a rally to celebrate his return. Shehbaz Sharif, the president of the PML-N, and Ishaq Dar, a former federal minister, are traveling with him. The chopper will land close to Diwan-e-Khaas in Lahore Fort at a designated helipad. From there, Nawaz will go in a convoy of cars to Minar-e-Pakistan.
The four-year self-imposed exile of PML-N leader and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has come to an end with his return to Pakistan.
At 1:36 p.m. local time, his chartered flight, “Umeed-e-Pakistan,” landed at Islamabad International Airport.
At 10:42 a.m., Nawaz Sharif took chartered flight FZ 425 from Dubai airport to Pakistan. Of the 164 passengers on the aircraft, 16 were seated in business class.
