NEWS DESK: According to the Pakistani government’s plan, each person’s Hajj journey is anticipated to cost Rs1.1 million in 2024.
According to recent rumors, this sum will be collected and each family will have a separate place to stay during the Hajj.
The next Hajj Policy 2024, which has been submitted to the federal cabinet and is pending approval, will disclose the precise cost.
Aneeq Ahmed, the Caretaker Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, had stated that the Saudi government will improve amenities and services for Pakistani pilgrims traveling on the Hajj in 2024.
The pilgrims will have a more convenient and comfortable stay thanks to these upgrades, which will include better lodging, food, and transportation.
Pakistan has set aside 179,201 pilgrims for the Hajj in 2024; of them, 50% are under government reservation and the rest 50% are on private arrangement, according to insiders from the Religious Ministry.
Furthermore, Pakistanis would be able to do the Hajj for up to 25 days for the first time.
In addition, it is expected that the Pakistani government will maintain the sponsorship program for the Hajj in 2024 in order to mitigate the difficulties related to securing foreign currency for the pilgrimage costs.
According to ARY News, in order to take advantage of this sponsorship program, one must have a valid Pakistani passport. The Hajj expenses would be paid for in Pakistani cash.
According to reports, 10,000 or so people may be eligible to take part in the Hajj in 2024 through this sponsorship program; these persons will not have to vote.
